Restoring an Icon: Paint Removal on the Avro Vulcan

We were honored to be commissioned by the National Museum of Flight to perform delicate paint removal on the landing gear of the legendary Avro Vulcan. This wasn't just a cleaning job; it required the removal of hazardous chromium-based paints from a sensitive historical asset.

Working within a live museum environment, we managed full site containment and rigorous safety protocols—all while the site remained open to the public. We are incredibly proud to have played a part in preserving this piece of aviation history at East Fortune.
