Before founding Blast Clean Scotland, Jamie served with distinction in the Royal Marines Commandos for seven years. The invaluable traits he honed during his military service—such as meticulous attention to detail, a relentless drive for success, and strategic planning—have seamlessly translated into the work we do at Blast Clean. These skills are particularly crucial when it comes to the delicate process of historical restoration.
The foundation of Blast Clean Scotland was laid by our previous owner, Chic Stenhouse, who played a pivotal role in Jamie's training. Chic spent over a decade as the director of one of the UK's leading Fire and Flood Restoration and Commercial Cleaning franchises. He was also the first contractor in Scotland to introduce the Micro-Strip Soda Blast Cleaning System, specifically designed for effectively removing smoke and soot from severely fire-damaged properties.
Today, Blast Clean Scotland boasts a team of specially trained operatives, each bringing a wealth of hands-on experience across a variety of applications. Our dedication to historical restoration is reinforced by numerous specialist accreditations from organizations such as CHAS, Stonehealth, IPAF, and PASMA.
